Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the factors affecting the decision to plant soybean in the second crop, year 2018/19 of farmers in Mae Tang District, Chiang Mai Province. The samples used in the study were soybean farmers in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, who has been registered with the Department of Agricultural Extension, 344 questionnaires are randomly
selected from the sample group. We use the Logit Model to analyze the data.

The results showed that the most key factors affecting the decision of farmers' soybean planting generation 2 are technical factors, which is the use of innovation and technology in crop production, followed by good agricultural practices that received the GAP standard, social factor is participation in government projects and physical factors.
