A STUDY OF WRITING SKILL AND CREATIVE THINKING ABILITY OF GRADE 6 STUDENTS THROUGH SYNECTICS LEARNING MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) compare the writing skill of Grade 6 students using Synectics learning management before and after learning, 2) compare the writing skill of Grade 6 students using Synectics learning management after learning against the 70 percent criterion and 3) compare the creativity of Grade 6 students using Synectics learning management before and after learning. The research sample included 23 from Demonstration School of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. The research instruments were learning management plan by the Synectics learning management 4 plans 16 hours, an imaginative writing test, and a creativity test. The results were analyzed for percentages, means, standard deviations, and t-tests.

           The results indicated that 1) Writing skill of Grade 6 students using Synectics learning management after studying was higher than before studying with statistical significance at .05 level. 2)  Writing skill of Grade 6 students using after studying was higher than the 70 percent criterion with statistical significance at the .05 level. 3) Creative thinking of Grade 6 students using after studying was higher than before studying with statistical significance at .05 level.
