CREATIVE LEADERSHIP OF THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS IN THE VUCA WORLD UNDER THE UBONRATCHATHANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 4

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) examine the level of creative leadership among school administrators in the VUCA World under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4; 2) compare the perceptions of teachers and school administrators regarding the creative leadership of school administrators, classified by position, educational qualifications, and work experience; and 3) explore guidelines for developing creative leadership among school administrators in the VUCA World. The sample consisted of 291 participants, comprising 264 teachers and 27 school administrators, selected through stratified random sampling. The research instruments were a 41-item questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale, with a reliability coefficient of 0.99, and a structured interview form. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean (M), standard deviation (SD), t-test, F-test, and Scheffé’s method for pairwise comparisons.
The research revealed the following findings:
- The overall level of creative leadership among school administrators in the VUCA World under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 was high.
- A comparison of the opinions of school administrators and teachers regarding creative leadership of school administrators, classified by position and work experience, indicated statistically significant differences at the .01 level. However, no significant differences were found based on educational qualifications.
- Regarding the guidelines for developing creative leadership among school administrators in the VUCA World under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, school administrators should possess a broad, forward-thinking vision to anticipate future changes and respond effectively to uncertainties. They should also be flexible and adaptable in unpredictable situations, foster an open and collaborative working environment, and promote imagination and creativity. Furthermore, technology should be utilized as a driving force. School administrators also should support personnel by recognizing their potential, providing opportunities for development, and encouraging participatory teamwork to establish a stable organizational culture.
