The Needs of Developing Model for Professional Learning Community to Enhance Child- Centered Learning Management Competency for Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office in the Three Southern Border Provinces.

Abstract

The research aimed to study the current and desired states and the needs for professional learning community to enhance child- centered Learning management competency for school of the secondary educational service area office in the three southern Border provinces. The sample group was a total of 316 school administration and teachers under the secondary educational service and office in the three southern Border provinces. selected by using stratified random sampling and simple random sampling by sampling without replacement. Insruments included structured interviews a five-scale quesionaire, the question consistency index is between 0.67-1.00 and Reliability was 0.81. Data were analyzed using mean percentage standard deviation and PNI_modified. The results showed that;

• the current state of professional learning community to enhancing learning

management competency on child- centered Learning as a whole was at a moderate level and the desired states was at the highest level. And 2) the needs for the professional learning community to enhancing learning management competency on child- centered Learning there is a need for every aspect , according to the order of needs as follows. (1) Reflection for professional development (PNI_Modified = 0.66) (2) Coordinate Learning and Cooperation (PNI_Modified = 0.59) (3) Shared Leadership (PNI_Modified = 0.40) (4) Support structure and (PNI_Modified = 0.38) (5) Shared Vision and Value (PNI_Modified = 0.37)
