Using a Variety of Educational Game Activity Sets to Promote Second-Year Early Childhood Enhance Their Fundamental Thinking Skills

Abstract
This research aims 1) to ascertain if educational game activity sets for second-year early childhood who meet the 80/80 criteria are beneficial at enhancing basic thinking skills. 2) to compare the early childhood in second grade's fundamental thinking skills before and after using educational game activity sets. The sample used in the study included 29 children in 2nd/1st grade in the second semester of the 2018 school year, The Child Development Center of Laeng Phaek Subdistrict, Kudrang District, Maha Sarakham Province, which was obtained from randomized groups. Random sampling in a cluster. 4 instructional gaming activity sets, 32 experience plans, 1 basic thinking ability evaluation, and the following statistics were used in the study: average, standard deviation, percentage, and t-test (dependent samples). The results of the research showed:
- A series of educational game activity sets to develop the ability to think fundamentally. For early childhood, year 2 had an efficiency of 81.92/82.76, which is higher than the established threshold (80/80).
- The basic thinking ability of second-year early childhood after using the educational game activity sets to improve the basic thinking ability for second-year early childhood is statistically significantly higher than before the use of educational game activity sets at the .01 level.
