The Development of Mathematics Learning Activities packages by Using Inductive on Fractional Unit for Prathomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop mathematics learning activities packages for Prathomsuksa 5 on fractional unit with a required efficiency of 80/80, 2) to compare academic achievement by using mathematics learning activities packages during before and after the experiment, 3) to find out the effectiveness index of mathematics learning activities packages, 4) to study satisfaction of Prathomsuksa 5 students. The target groups consisted of 21 students who are studying in the first semester, academic year 2022 at Bannongwaen School. The research instruments were composed of 1) the mathematics learning activities packages for Prathomsuksa 5 on fractional unit, 2) the 21 inductive method  learning management plans on fractional unit 3) 30-item multiple-choice learning achievement tests(Pre-test and Post-test) and 4) a students’ learning satisfaction questionnaire.  The statistics used for researching were mean, standard deviation, percentage, efficiency and effectiveness index.


           The research results were as follows:


  1. The mathematics learning activities packages by using inductive method on fractional unit for Prathomsuksa 5 Students had an efficiency of 86.87/84.44, which was higher than the required efficiency criterion.

  2. The academic achievement after learning by using inductive method on fractional unit for Prathomsuksa 5 students was higher than the academic achievement before learning with statistical significance at .05 level, which meets the criteria set.

  3. The effectiveness index of learning management  by using inductive method on fractional unit for Prathomsuksa 5 students was 0.6858, which is based on the assumption.

  4. Students learning satisfaction with the mathematics learning activities packages by using inductive method on fractional unit for Prathomsuksa 5 students had a mean of 4.79 and a standard deviation of 0.52 was at a high level, which is based on the assumption that the set.
