Abstract
This research of Thai wisdom in Food from The verse of Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai) aims as follows: 1) to summarize the compositions that appear in the verse of Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai) 2) To study Thai wisdom in foods that appear in the verse of Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai) 3) To study teenagers' knowledge of food that appears in the verse of Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai). The research referenced data that was studied from the verse of Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai). The research tool is the questionnaire and the research samples are the student from Thai language major, Faculty of Education at Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University 3rd year: 60 students By studying how students have knowledge of food that appears in the writings by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai).
The results showed that the composition of the verse Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai) appears 15 kinds of food and 16 kinds of dessert. It contains content that shows the refinement, meticulousness of how women in the past cook. The result of studying Thai wisdom in food shows that The Thai wisdom of food reflects the importance of Thai cuisine that Thais have enjoyed from the past to the present. There is a mix of Thai food culture with a variety of ethnicities, adapted into appetizing Thai cuisine. It is exquisite, beautiful, and tasty. And the result of studying teenagers' knowledge about food that appears in the verse of Food and Dessert by King Rama II (King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai) Junior 60 peoples they have knowledge about savory food is moderate} have average 3.15 and dessert is the level of very good} have average 3.72
