Needs and Guidelines for Enhancing Competency Development of Mathematic Teachers Under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 38 Sukhothai

Abstract
The purposes of this research were studying needs and guidelines for enhancing competency development of mathematic teachers under the secondary educational service area office 38, Sukhothai. The research methodology consisted of 2 parts. The first part was studying needs of enhancing competency of mathematic teachers under the secondary educational service area office 38, Sukhothai. The sample consisted of 118 mathematic teachers under the secondary educational service area office 38, Sukhothai. The research determined the sample size by using Krejcie and Morgan table. The second part was studying guidelines for enhancing competency of mathematic teachers under the secondary educational service area office 38, Sukhothai. The informant were 5 mathematical experts who have been subjected to a specific sampling. The data were analyzed by analyzing content. The research results were as follows. 1) A study of the essential needs’ competency of math teachers under the Office of the Secondary Educational Service Area 38, Sukhothai was found that knowledge competency was the most necessary index of demand and followed by skill competency. 2) A Study of Guideline for enhancing competency development of mathematics teacher under the secondary educational service area office 38, Sukhothai was found that there were 8 approaches. The approaches divided into 2 knowledge competency, 3 skill competency and 3 qualification competency
