Abstract

       This research aimed to design a traditional reed pattern according to Chaiyaphum City identity using the Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP) program consisting of qualitative research by Focus Group Discussion. Inclusion criteria by Consists of individuals live in Na Srinuan village community and a member of the Kok mat weaving community enterprise And have a willingness to join the project The researcher conducted a data triangulation examination and analyzed the data through content analysis, in which the researcher studied and surveyed the production of traditional reed mats in the pattern from Ban Na Si Nuan community, Na Siew Subdistrict, Muang District. Chaiyaphum Province       The research results are found that Patterns of traditional reed mats according to the identity of Chaiyaphum city using the program GSP gets a total of 10 new designs: Teal, Krachiew flower, Krajom, Khit (needle flower), Zinnia pattern. Ratchaphruek flower pattern, Kamaduan flower pattern, Nightmare pattern trap, Bamboo and Bua Luang pattern. the evaluation results Beauty Krachiew flower pattern was the most beautiful at 93 points, followed by teal 90 points and teal 88 points. By Krachiew flower pattern can be used for most practical use 95 points, followed by Teal pattern 90 points and Kra Toop pattern 70 points.
