Leadership in Community Development on the Prototype of Muslim Women's Career; the Health Massage Group, Patabudee Village, Lham Pho Subdistrict, Yaring District, Pattani Province

Abstract

This research aims 1) to study leadership in community development on the prototype of Muslim women's career; the health massage group and 2) to study the obstacles in community development on the prototype of Muslim women's career, Patabudi Massage Group Laem Pho Subdistrict, Yaring District, Pattani Province. The study population consisted of 20 village Muslim women which used selective purpose. The data is stored through semi-structured interviews and group discussions. The results found that the leadership in community development on the prototype of Muslim women’s career has good leadership in coordinating and management. The leader was ready to lead and develop the community. The obstacles in community development on the prototype of Muslim women’s careers were a lack of marketing, promotion, and development of a variety of herbal products. The suggestions were the leaders should know transferred on how to practice the experience of massage for health by a local philosopher to youth and others. To create understanding and have correct practices according to religious principles. Extend this career to be in the area. Generate income for the community.
