Development of a Database System for Risk Assessment of Community Enterprises in the Thonburi Area Based on the Sufficiency Economic Philosophy to Support Entry into the AEC

Abstract

         The purposes of this research were 1) to develop a database system for risk assessment of community enterprises in the Thonburi area based on the sufficiency economy philosophy to support entry into the AEC, and 2) to evaluate the developed system. The participants were five database system experts and five experts in risk assessment based on the sufficiency economy philosophy, selected using a purposive sampling method. The research tools were 1) the database system for risk assessment of community enterprises in the Thonburi area according to the sufficiency economy philosophy to support AEC entry, and 2) the quality evaluation form by database system experts and risk assessment experts based on the sufficiency economy philosophy. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean and standard deviation.

        The results revealed that the process and internal structure of the database system for risk assessment of community enterprises in the Thonburi area based on the sufficiency economy philosophy to support the entry into the AEC consisted of seven systems: the member registration system, the field information management system, the product information management system, the category information management system, the service information management system, the risk management system, and the report output system. The quality of the developed system was evaluated in two aspects, and it was found that the database system and the risk assessment based on the sufficiency economy philosophy were at high levels. The overall evaluation result was at a high level, with a mean of 4.41 and a standard deviation of 0.66.
