Analysis of Employment Guidelines for Elderly People in Thailand: Background and Dream

All countries in the world are facing elderly people's social problems since elderly people's society affects the change in economic, society, and political structure. Thailand is considered to be a country that is facing elderly people society. One critical problem is the economic structure problem because Thailand uses industrial workforces to drive the economy. Therefore, when Thailand faces the elderly people's society problem, the workforces are reduced which impacts the whole national economic situation. Hence, the purpose of this article is to study, analyze and predict the number of elderly people in the workforce market through the concept “PEST analysis” and provide suggestion policy to support elderly people employment by studying and analyzing from research papers, articles, official documents, and literature review. It can be seen that employing elderly people is one of the most important policies to solve the elderly people society problem because the population structure in the past cannot be changed but there can be a measure to support and improve the population structure to allow elderly people to have the income to support their lives, as well as enhancement in the national economic situation. Elderly people's employment does not only enhance the economic situation but also makes the elderly people to be the potential people group who are ready for the social changes in all directions.
