Predicting quality of life of the elderly in the area of Phichit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Mom District Songkhla Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study the level of welfare provision for the elderly, to study the level of social support for the elderly, to study the level of quality of life for the elderly in the area of Phichit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Mom District, Songkhla Province. And predicting the quality of life of the elderly in Phichit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Mom District, Songkhla Province with support from government agencies. and social support. The sample group used in this research study is the elderly in Phichit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Mom District, Songkhla Province, totaling 285 people.  The research tools were a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, multiple regression analysis. The research found that the level of welfare provision for the elderly, the level of social support for the elderly, and the level of quality of life for the elderly in Phichit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Mom District, Songkhla Province are overall at a high level. The quality of life of the elderly in Phichit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Mom District, Songkhla Province is the provision of welfare for the elderly by social support (β₂ = 0.525) and the local administrative organization (β₁ = 0.352) and explain the variation was 58.70 with statistical significance at the 0.001 level. Suggestions: There should be a plan to develop staff to be ready to perform duties related to caring for the elderly, focusing on various projects such as digital skills for living in the present era.
