Thung Pak Kho Monkey Cheeks: Returning Public Spaces for the Benefit of the Community

Abstract

This research article the objective is to analyze the development of public areas for the benefit of the community. Studying data from Huai Sai Village Sub Thawee Subdistrict Ban Na Doem District Surat Thani Province. Data were gathered using qualitative research from the review of relevant documents, interviews and community forums. The results of the study revealed that Thung Pak Kho Monkey Cheek was constructed to reduce flooding problems and reduce the problem of encroachment on public areas for agriculture. Relevant agencies have seen guidelines for the development of such areas for the public benefit. Including the community has the potential to drive efficient use of space. Relevant government agencies, village headmen, representatives of community leaders and people Therefore, jointly propose guidelines for utilizing the monkey cheeks of Thung Pak Kho together in the form of projects/activities. It is a summary of the use of the area for public use in 3 approaches: 1) career and income generation 2) tourism and sports 3) community learning resources. Guidelines to drive the project/activity into action must consist of public relations and understanding for people in the area and relevant agencies to know about development guidelines for collaboration of all sectors. Government agencies and local government organizations must plan set time period and allocating budgets to support development in each area to its fullest potential. Coordinate collaboration between
