A Global Community of Shared Future” Concept and Vaccine Dipplomacy: Beijinger’s Perspective

This qualitative research aims to study Beijinger’s perspective of “a global community of shared future” concept and vaccine diplomacy. The survey participants consisted of 31 Beijingers, 23 of who were male, representing 74 percent, and 8 were female, accounting for 26 percent. The age range of participants was between 27 - 48 years. Their education backgrounds were diploma – doctoral degree. The data was collected in the period from October 2021 to January 2022 through a semi-structured interview and was follow by content analysis.
The results reveled that: 1) The majority of interviewees, agree with "a global community of shared future" concept; 2) The majority of interviewees disagree with the “Vaccine diplomacy” definition; 3) The majority of interviewees consider China's Covid-19 vaccine distribution to other countries as another purpose rather than an instrument of political influence.
