The Success of Collaborative Network of Natural Resource Conservation of Ban Mae Tung Ting Village, Mae Sap Sub-district, Samoeng District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the success of the operation of the natural resource conservation network of Ban Mae Tung Ting and 2) to study the problems and obstacles of the operation of the natural resource conservation network of the house Mae Tung Ting and guidelines for solving problems. This research uses qualitative interviews to collect information from government, private, and public agencies. The results of the study found that 1) in the operation of the network for natural resource conservation in Ban Mae Tung Ting, various sectors participating in the network have common characteristics, including the perception of the same perspective and having a shared vision. Having common interests or the Participation of all members in the network strengthens mutual support and interaction in exchange. 2) Problems obstacles and solutions to the problem include (1) there should be coordination and cooperation in the conservation of natural resources at the subgroup level. (2) The knowledge of laws regarding natural resource conservation among the people in the area is still insufficient. Therefore, knowledge of the law should be promoted to the people in the area. Including stakeholders, and 3) Some agencies do not play a continuous role. In addition, some citizens do not have time to engage in network activities. Due to increased interest in agriculture, local agencies should promote and create cooperation with government agencies that are involved in solving problems, and there should be supervision and monitoring of successful network operations to ensure continuity.
