The Development of Mathematical Achievement on Introduction to Logic by Using Think-Pair-Share Techniques with Skill Exercises For Grade 10 students

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the before and after achievements of basic logic on mathematics learning in Think-Pair-Share Techniques with Skill Exercises for Grade 10 students. 2) to develop achievement in basic logic on mathematics learning. 3) to study the satisfaction level towards learning mathematics. The sample were 26 students’ grade 10, studying in the first semester of the acadamic year 2022 at Phuengdaedwittayakarn School. Using cluster random sampling. Research instruments were 1) Lesson plan for learning mathematics           by using Think-Pair-Share Techniques with Skill Exercises 2) a test of achievement        on basic logic and 3) a student satisfaction questionnaire on learning basic logic towards by using Think-Pair-Share Techniques with Skill Exercises. The research was percentage, mean score, standard deviation, one-sample t-test, and t-test for Dependent.

          The research result showed that 1) the score after studying by using          Think-Pair-Share Techniques with Skill Exercises was significantly higher than before studying at the level of .05 2) after learning the achievements was higher than criteria at 70 percent with a statistical significance at the level of .05 and 3) the satisfaction of grade 10 students towards learning mathematics on basic logic by using            Think-Pair-Share Techniques with Skill Exercises was at the high level
