Guidelines for the Development of Career Promotion from the Identity of Ban Mai Community, Tra Saeng Subdistrict, Mueang Surin District Surin Province

Abstract

          The purpose of this study was to study community identity and guidelines for development and occupational promotion at Ban Mai Community, Trasang Subdistrict, Mueang Surin District. Surin Province It is a qualitative study. The main informant groups are community leaders, villagers representatives. religious leader important people in the community using a variety of methods, including document study collective observation in-depth interview and group chat Descriptive data analysis and content analysis, then summarizing and making recommendations.

          The results of the research revealed that 1) the identity of the Ban Mai community There is a civilization related to living along with the Chi River. It is an ancient community, over 200-150 years old, with Thai-Khmer ethnic groups and languages. use the traditional boat dance It's a folk game. which is an ancient and unique tradition in Thailand and there is also an ancient Chedi Luang Ta who built the temple Since ancient times, which is the veneration and faith of the people. Enshrined at Wat Skor Tamok In addition, the important local wisdom is to bring soil from the Chi River. come to make a brazier that has been handed down since ancient times There is a local dessert, Kanom Khao Taen, which represents the identity of the community. Which was built on the basis of the same culture, tradition, way of life and the mutual acceptance of the community and has been practiced until birth It is a culture of life that is unique to the community. And it covers the way of life of the community and 2) guidelines for the development and occupational promotion of Ban Mai Community, Trasang Subdistrict, Mueang Surin District. Surin Province, it was found that there were 3 aspects, namely 1) knowledge and experience in setting up occupational groups, 2) establishment of places to sell products, and 3) vocational training other than those within the group.
