Abstract

The Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) framework, which contributes to the advancement of academic administration in schools, represents a strategic management approach that emphasizes the formulation of clearly defined objectives aligned with overarching organizational goals. The framework enables systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of performance, while facilitating the efficient execution of organizational strategies within relatively short and well-defined time frames. The OKRs framework comprises two fundamental components: objectives, which are inherently challenging and articulated as qualitative goals, and key results, which function as precise, explicit, verifiable, and quantitatively measurable indicators used to assess the extent to which the objectives have been achieved. This framework is underpinned by four essential principles: goal setting, the specification of key results, implementation, and evaluation.     The application of the OKRs framework in educational institution management serves to promote organizational development and sustained progress, particularly in the domain of academic administration. Academic administration constitutes the core of school management, as it directly contributes to the enhancement of learner quality.                       The integration of OKRs enhances the efficiency of academic administration, ensures comprehensive management across academic domains, and supports systematic processes that foster enabling and supportive institutional structures. Furthermore, this approach promotes continuous and context-sensitive improvement in learner quality, aligning educational outcomes with the diverse needs and characteristics of students. Accordingly, this article aims to explain and synthesize the application of the Objectives and Key Results framework in the development of academic administration within school contexts.
