Innovations in Learning Area of Occupations in the Artificial intelligence Era

Abstract

This research article is part of a study titled "Proactive Management Innovation to Develop Learning Management in the Learning Area of Occupations to Support Changes in the Artificial Intelligence Era." The objective of this research is to propose a proactive management innovation to develop the learning management of the learning area of occupations, accommodating changes in the Artificial Intelligence Era. The study employed a community-based participatory research (CBPR) approach. The research design included: 1) a mixed-methods research with an exploratory sequential design, 2) participatory planning process techniques using the Appreciation-Influence-Control (AIC) model, and 3) a consensus-building approach.

         The results of the study indicate that proactive management innovation for developing learning management in the learning area of occupations to support changes in the Artificial Intelligence Era requires a comprehensive process. This includes assessing the current situation, setting a vision, mission, goals, strategic objectives, project initiatives, and creating a strategy map. The strategic map was developed in alignment with the New Public Management (NPM) approach and is guided by the Balance Scorecard (BSC) framework. The framework includes four dimensions: 1) effectiveness, 2) quality, 3) internal process efficiency, and                       4) organizational and personnel development. These four dimensions are interconnected, leading to the successful achievement of goals and the overall vision for managing the learning area of occupations to effectively navigate the changes brought by the Artificial Intelligence Era.
