Enhancing Personality and Verbal Communication Skills for Workplace Efficiency: A Case Study in Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to 1) develop both external and internal personality traits of
personnel working in Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province, and 2) enhance
verbal communication skills to improve workplace efficiency among the same group. The
findings revealed that all participants showed significant interest in the topics presented by the
researcher. This is largely because personnel in various positions, as public service providers,
must engage with citizens and collaborate with multiple agencies regularly. Thus, the
development of personality traits and verbal communication skills is essential for effective job
performance. The participants demonstrated a deeper understanding of the importance of
appropriate personality and accurate, context-sensitive communication. Moreover, they were
able to apply these skills in their roles as government personnel and share the acquired
knowledge with colleagues, contributing to overall organizational improvement in public
service delivery within the district.
