Ethics and Roles of Related Persons (Publication Ethics)
The International Journal of Management Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University realizes and places importance on the ethics and roles of the main stakeholders in the preparation of academic articles and the operation of the journal's editorial board itself, whether it is the article writer, journal editor, or article assessor. Therefore, we have continuously improved (*) the ethical requirements and roles of related persons to be international as follows:
Roles and duties of the article writers (Duties of Authors)
- The article writer must certify that the submitted work is new and has never been published.
- The article writer must report the facts arising from the research, not distort the data or provide false information.
- The article writer must cite the work of others if such work is used in their work, including creating a list of references at the end of the article.
- The article writer must proceed according to the article screening policy, and the article's content must be in accordance with the journal's objectives.
- The article writer must adjust the article's format and font size according to the journal's template and check the accuracy of the reference list, both in terms of format and content, according to the requirements specified by the journal board in the “Guidelines for Article Submissions”.
- All authors whose names appear in the research article Must be people who are actually involved in the research.
- The article's author must specify the funding source that supports the research (if any).
- The article's author must specify the conflict of interest (if any).
Roles and duties of the journal editor (Duties of Editors)
- The journal editor is responsible for considering the quality of the article for publication in the journal for which he/she is responsible.
- The editor must not disclose the information of the submitter and the reviewer of the article to other unrelated persons during the article evaluation period.
- After the article evaluation process, the editor must select the article for publication, considering the content's importance, timeliness, clarity, and consistency with the journal's policy as the primary considerations.
- The editor must not publish articles that have been published elsewhere.
- The editor must not reject the publication of an article due to doubt or uncertainty but must find evidence to prove or confirm the doubt first.
- The editor must not have a conflict of interest with the author, reviewer, and management team.
- The editor must have or arrange for the article to be checked for plagiarism using a reliable program to ensure that the article published in the journal does not plagiarize the work of others. *
- The editor must maintain the journal's standards, including developing the journal to be quality and up-to-date at all times, maintaining the accuracy of academic work, and protecting the standards of intellectual property.
- If plagiarism is found in the article evaluation process, the editor must stop the evaluation process and immediately contact the submitter to request clarification for consideration of "accepting" or "rejecting" the publication of that article in the journal.
