Abstract
This research aims to study the theory of emotions and the impact of emotions on the Thai language learning of second-year students in the Thai Language Teaching program, Faculty of Education, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The study employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods, collecting data through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and observation of students' behaviors. The findings indicate that emotions significantly affect students' Thai language learning. Positive emotions, such as confidence and enthusiasm, promote learning, while negative emotions, such as anxiety and stress, hinder the learning process. The research results can be used to develop teaching approaches that foster emotions conducive to effective Thai language learning.
