An analysis of motivation for using technology and innovation via an application to prevent and enhance the health of “Senior Ready” of the elderly in Bangkok

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the motivation for using the "Senior Ready" application, include of aspects of the usefulness of the application usage self care and referrals affecting the behavior of using applications and social media of the elderly in Bangkok. The sample group was a sample of the elderly in Bangkok. The questionnaire was used as a tool for data analysis, i.e. frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis by using the program SPSS.
The results showed that incentives for using the "Senior Ready" application overall and in terms of application benefit and usability has affects the behavior of using applications and social media in terms of application usage patterns with statistical significance at the .01 level, the overall and individual aspects of the overall and individual aspects of the application's overall and individual motivation for using the "Senior Ready" were the usefulness of the application and the self-care aspect has affects the behavior of using applications and social media. In the issue of many times per day with statistical significance at the .01 level, which can be used as information for those interested about the behavior of using applications and social media in daily life of the elderly and guideline for the further development of the elderly.
