A Study of Personal Characteristics, Transactional Leadership, and Transformational Leadership Affecting Organizational Citizenship: A Case Study of a State Enterprise in Telecommunication

Abstract

The roles of a state enterprise in telecommunication have an important to drive the communication network. They are confirmed as the major tool in collaboration among business industries as well as the roles of leadership and organizational citizenship in order to drive the success as well. The objectives of the research topic, “A Study of Personal Characteristics, Transactional Leadership, and Transformational Leadership Affecting Organizational Citizenship: A Case Study of a State Enterprise in Telecommunication” were to study 1) the differences of personal characteristics affecting organizational citizenship: A case Study of a state enterprise in telecommunication, 2) the transactional leadership affecting organizational citizenship: A case study of a state enterprise in telecommunication; and 3) the transformational leadership affecting organizational citizenship: A case study of a state enterprise in
telecommunication. The sample size was 400 employees from a state enterprise in telecommunication. The research procedures analysis was the descriptive statistics and the inferential statistics was t-test, One-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis with the
significance level of 0.05 The results found that the differences of personal characteristics in terms of gender,
age, educational level, personal status, income per month, and period of working experiences did not affect organizational citizenship: A case study of a state enterprise in telecommunication. The transactional leadership affected organizational citizenship: A case
study of a state enterprise in telecommunication. The transformational leadership affected organizational citizenship: A case study of a state enterprise in telecommunication with the significance level of 0.05.
The finding of the study could be promoted as the guidelines to enhance skill development, training, and leadership skills based on transactional leadership, transformational leadership, and organizational citizenship in a state enterprise in telecommunication.
