The Development of Eco – Friendly Tourism at Mae-Jam Community, Muang in Lampang Province

Abstract
This research aims to develop environmentally friendly tourism management at Mae Chaem Village Muang Pan District, Lampang Province. The objectives are 1) to study the context and potential of tourism management 2) to present guidelines for tourism management. Qualitative and quantitative research methods were used for this research, interviews with 23 relevant people was conducted for this research. Data was collected from 400 tourists using questionnaires as a research tool. Qualitative Data obtained from interviews was analyzed which was obtained through content from interviewers. Descriptive analysis was performed including frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results from interviews showed that government agencies, private sector and operators have set up temporary regulations for the tourism relief zone by creating rules regarding the safety of tourists or visitors. As for the satisfaction of tourists it was found that it was high at a level (= 4.13), satisfaction for service personnel (= 4.19), followed by tourism attractions (= 4.15), services (= 4.13), recreational and tourism activities (= 4.12), safety (= 4.09) and
environmental management. (= 4.07). As for the development of tourism management, it should be developed with focus on factors such as waste management and conservation of the surrounding natural ecosystems. Development of hotels and restaurants with basic should be pursued to cater to tourists. Personnel service skill development and the presence of information centers and assistance to tourists is essential for tourism management.
