The Use of Technology and Innovation to Preserve the Thai Script

Abstract

The Thai script is a cultural heritage that is important to Thai society. The changes in technology during the digital age have impacted the use of Thai script in many aspects. This article examines the use of technology and innovation to preserve and promote the Thai script, focusing on the development of digital fonts, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and online education that utilizes technology to enhance the learning of the Thai script. The study results indicate that the application of technology can help preserve the value of the Thai script in the digital age and increase its usage in modern media effectively.
