Teaching Thai language to Burmese students at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study found that teaching Thai to Burmese students involved a variety of methods, such as integrated teaching, learning through activities, and the use of appropriate teaching media. However, Burmese students faced difficulties in pronunciation, grammar usage, and understanding the meanings of certain words. Additionally, cultural factors and differences in language systems were significant obstacles affecting their learning.
Based on the study results, the researchers propose a teaching development approach by adjusting the teaching methods to suit the learners, adding activities that promote the use of Thai in daily life, and developing supplementary learning materials that help students understand and use Thai effectively.
