Abstract
Language is an essential part of cultural identity and a crucial communication tool for humans. Thai, or the mother tongue of each ethnic group in Thailand, plays a significant role in passing down culture and knowledge from generation to generation. However, current social and technological changes have impacted the use and preservation of Thai and the mother tongues of minority groups. This article focuses on studying the importance of preserving and developing the Thai language, as well as the approaches that can be used to promote and maintain these languages.
