Development of Diary Writing

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to develop diary writing. This study discusses some relevant theories related to writing skills. In this discussion, seven important points are presented. They are the definition of writing, the characteristics of written language, micro-and macro skills of writing, the process of writing, types of writing performance, tasks of teachers in teaching writing, and teaching writing in senior high school.
