Buddhist Principle for Local Political Participation of Sub district Headman and Village Headman

Abstract
This research article has three objectives: 1. to study the concept of participation in local politics of sub district headman and village headman,
2. to study the principles of Buddhism that promote participation in local politics of sub district headman and village headman, and 3. to apply the principles of Buddhism in the participation in local politics of sub district headman and village headman. This is a qualitative research. The research results found that:
Participation in local politics of the village headman includes
supporting and coordinating with local government organizations in various areas, including 1. Preparing local development plans 2. Maintaining peace and order in the area 3. Role as a government representative in the provincial administration and 4. Role as a citizen.
The principles of Buddhism that promote participation in local politics of sub district headman and village headman include the principles of
Saraniyadhamma, consisting of 1. Meeting regularly 2. Meeting together in
unison together and adjourned the meeting together, do the things that should be done. 3. Do not prescribe anything that has not been prescribed. 4. Those who are adults among the Vajji people respect and respect them and see your words. That it is something worth listening to. 5. All the ladies and gentlemen, to live well without being persecuted. 6. Paying homage to the pagoda. 7. Providing righteous protection, protection, and protection to the monks who uphold the Dhamma.
Apply the principles of Buddhism in local political participation of
village headmen. Seven Saraniyadhamma principles can be applied:
1. Principles of regular meetings 2. Princples of coordination in organizing activities
3. Principles of issuing regulations and laws 4. Principles of listening to public opinion 5. Principles of having Women's participation, 6. Principles for preserving arts and culture, and 7. Principles for participation of religious leaders.
