Abstract

Most of the small water resources projects outside the irrigation area are not linked and lack continuity of the plan. It is difficult to know and access the plan information of each agency. In addition, there is a problem of duplication of projects because there are many government agencies involved in the work, such as the Royal Irrigation Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Department of Water Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior, but the agencies lack integration of small water resources projects outside the irrigation area. When the researcher applied geographic information system technology to develop the planning of small water resources projects outside the irrigation area so that the agencies can use the same database to work together, it will make the work of each unit linked, correct, fast, continuous, and without duplication. The agencies can plan the project clearly, which helps to solve the problem of lack of integration of small water resources projects outside the irrigation area to some extent and allows related agencies to use the information for further planning. Using digital technology to create a database allows the public, stakeholders, and related agencies to be aware of and access information efficiently, and to benefit from the application of digital technology.
